Life of a JCBA student

If you look around you will notice that most clubs and after school activities are ran by JCBA students. Rally’s, School dances, Snack Shack, Student store, food fairs, Yearbook committee, Newspaper and more are all ran by JCBA Students. Why? Because JCBA students are the ones with all the School, spirit and joy to get these programs started. They are the ones that have the commitment to keep them going. If you didn’t already know, every student that is involved in running the rallies are all students in our Business SLC we call “home”. ALL of our rallies have been run by our ASB President, Raynisha Thompson. Our last rally which was held in the large gym, “Battle of the sexes” was nothing but fun. Raynisha’s great personality, loud voice, and school spirit gives each and every one of us the motivation to cheer our classmates along when they compete in rallies.  That is one way on how we remain united and keep our school alive!

Life of a JCBA student at Hiram Johnson High School is very different from any other SLC’s students. We’re not just a Business SLC, we’re ONE BIG FAMILY! All JCBA students look at each other as one BIG family, which is something, no other SLC’s have in common. JCBA is a united SLC that supports and cares for one another. I’m not saying we don’t care for other students in different SLC’s, I’m saying that JCBA has influenced our lives in tremendous ways. You can’t go a day without running into or hearing about someone you know because JCBA’s community is friendly and unforgettable. Walking down the halls in HJHS and not hearing anything that has to do with JCBA is very uncommon. Once in a blue moon, you’ll hear something going on with another SLC’s but JCBA’s news travels through the halls and classes each and every day. If you don’t believe me, walk around Johnson’s hallways and keep an open eye, I mean ear, and find out for yourself!

If you are looking for a way to make money and have fun at the same time, JCBA, Johnson Corporate Business Academy, is the way to go! Joining the moneymaking SLC would be one of the best choices you would ever take. Most, if not ALL JCBA students who have joined to be a part of our house have loved being with us since day one. As a JCBA student at Hiram Johnson High School, I notice the qualities of the students that walk among us. These students are very different from most other students out there. These students have a unique side to them. You will always find them having fun as a regular teenager would but also find time to work hard and maintain great grades. Do you ever wonder how it is to be a student in JCBA? You will find out about things that you never thought of thinking about when it came down to JCBA students. Once you find out about all the activities and clubs JCBA students are involved in, you are going to wish you were a JCBA student yourself. You will realize that we are closer to each other than any other SLC on Johnson’s campus. Way closer than you think!
